Pulse Pressure Calculation
Definition :
Difference between the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure is called the Pulse Pressure. It is measured in millimeter mercury ( mmHg ).Pulse Pressure : Systolic Pressure - Diastolic Pressure
( PP ) : SBP - DBP
Calculation :
Systolic pressure minus diastolic pressure.Example :
If BP is 120/80Pulse Pressure : 120 - 80
Pulse Pressure : 40 mmHg.
Values :
Low Pulse Pressure : Less than 25mmHg.High Pulse Pressure : More than 100mmHg.
