Case Study On Hyper Ventilation Syndrome
A 17 years old female brought to emergency ward with the complaint of sudden onset of Shortness Of Breath associated with shivering. No associated symptoms.
History of cold and dry cough since 2 days..
Non Diabetic, Non Hypertensive, No Thyroid disorders.
Vitals are BP : 120/90mmhg, HR : 74 b/min, RR : 19 b/min SPO2 : 100% ( On Room Air ).
Investigations :
Advised CBP, Chest X - ray.
Impression :
CBP and Chest X ray are showing normal..
Treatment : ( GIVEN )
01. Rebreather Mask
02. Kept on observation.
Treatment : ( Advised )
01. Tab : SOLVIN COLD : P/O : 2 DAYS.
02. SYP : GRILLINTUS : P/O : 5 DAYS.
03. Review with reports if symptoms persist.
